Post NYC Weekend
I received this beautiful gift of Japanese tea from a friend. It’s packaged in such a lovely way, I almost don’t want to use it.

Last weekend I took the kids out to Sake in Portsmouth. The twins ate rice and beef kushiyaki (meat on a stick). The kushiyaki had sauce and sesame seeds on it. I could tell by the look on Jack’s face that he didn’t want to eat it. However he and Grace both tried it .. and loved it! This is good because I have a feeling they will be living on this type of meal in Japan. Eve and I ordered udon with tofu and vegetables. The rain started coming down in buckets as we ate our dinner.

We were all reminded of Spirited Away, when Chihiro leaves the door open for No Face so he can come in out of the rain. We talked about the upcoming summer and reminisced about past vacations. On Sunday we watched Spirited Away for the millionth time. My heart was full of joy. Happy to be back with family after two weekends away.
